The gym questions

Can I lift in it?
Yes — that's what the Sporty shell is for. It protects the titanium finish from knurling and metal handles and softens the edge against your finger. For maximal grip work where any ring is uncomfortable, most people still slip it off for the set; it charges in under an hour if you want to use that window.
Does the shell affect tracking?
No. The sensors sit on the palm side of the ring and stay in contact with your finger. The shell wraps the outer band.
Will the titanium still scratch?
Any metal you wear every day picks up marks. The shell is there to take those hits instead. Spare shells are inexpensive; the ring underneath stays presentable.
Does it track weightlifting properly?
It tracks the session, your heart rate response and the recovery cost. No ring counts reps. If you want live in-set metrics, keep a watch for training — the ring is what tells you whether tomorrow should be heavy or easy.
